Pink power

Welcome to Sexy Pink. Many weeks ago I sent a friend who is also an artist, an address for a favorite site of mine called sexinart. Then today, he asked me whether I would be interested in starting a site along the lines of sex in Art in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean.

I instantly said yes. We spoke for awhile as to what it would entail, and the more we talked, the more we realized what a wonderful project this could become. Names began to give rise to categories and regions and we decided that there was no time like the present to get this site into cyberspace.

Sexy Pink shall feature the erotic, the sensual, the overtly sexual, the pornographic, the sensitive, the beautiful, the quirky, the kinky, whatever connotes the concept of sexuality in art in the Caribbean region. We also intend to interview artists and to create small projects dealing with many aspects of the subject, because our objective is to amass a body of works by artists working undercover and underground, producing such important works, but afraid to show this form of expression until now. This site gives everyone an opportunity to breathe and to look.
